*panics and procrastinates simultaneously*
what if the only reason we can’t walk through mirrors is because our reflection blocks us
what if they’re protecting us though
what if they know that the other side is horrifying and painful and they are trying to keep us from ever crossing over
I must be on the wrong side of the mirror then
maybe you’re the reflection.
Tonight I let my new housemate talk for fifteen minutes about how bisexuality isn’t a valid sexual orientation and that they’re just greedy and have no standards and need to pick one. And then I told her I was bisexual. The back-pedalling was so messy and hilarious.
One of the opinions from the guy who sits to my left in math class was that it was the victims fault that he or she was getting bullied. And especially their fault if they committed suicide. I got so angry, I couldn’t speak for a moment. The choice of victim he decided to use as an example was a gay person. He said if they come out, it’s their fault for getting bullied because we live in an society where being gay is not socially acceptable, and they deserve to be bullied. I didn’t know how to respond, I tried and he waved off every response and kept with what he first said. I know we don’t live in a society where being gay is socially acceptable, but does that mean if someone is getting bullied that it is the victims fault? Shit got me so heated. Another opinion he had was that Martin Luther king jr was just a trouble maker and what he did wasn’t important. I decided to ignore him for the rest of the period. I was so done with him. And he kept saying it wasn’t an opinion. But that it was a fact. Kay I’m done ranting about him.
- DO NOT SPEAK TO ME IN A CONDESCENDING WAY
- DO NOT SPEAK TO ME LIKE I’M AN IDIOT
- DO NOT SPEAK TO ME AS IF I’M STUPID BECAUSE I DIDN’T KNOW ABOUT SOMETHING THAT YOU KNEW ABOUT OR BECAUSE I DIDN’T UNDERSTAND SOMETHING THAT’S SIMPLE FOR OTHER PEOPLE TO UNDERSTAND
- JUST DON’T DO IT
